Decoratief
De laatste jaren staat er geen kerstboom meer in ons huis. Ik kies namelijk voor wat kleine decoraties. Nu de Kerstdagen voorbij zijn is het weer tijd om ze op te bergen, alhoewel...het hertje en de vogeltjes vind ik nog wel leuk dus deze laat ik nog even op mijn bureau staan.

Op de laatste zaterdagochtend van het jaar. Buiten is het mistig en koud, maar binnen is het wollig en warm!

~June, Summer In The City~
Oh my, this Saturday was a good opportunity to wander through my city in Nijmegen. Although I love to drive my car, or to ride my bike, this time I took the bus and I went straight ahead to the quiet places to look out for some summery laid back pleasures. And I'm not disappointed. How I Love to see the abundance of green next to colorful flowers and to behold one of my favorites, lush garden roses in red and pink hues. Little hide away's for a small coffee break and vintage shops. People having a break and relaxing in the city park under the trees and enjoying just like me those heavenly sun beams and within your fingertips a yummy ice-cream. With temperatures around 21 degrees it's needless to say…..summer in the city isn't bad at all.
Orange, and it's still dominates the street scenes in my neighborhood. I noticed it's considerably less in the City. After the last match and they won from a very tough and strong Australian team, the Dutchies are still in the game, heading up to the second round.

...before it's gonna be the type of weather we use to have this time of the year, I decide to take the bus and to have an early walk in the Park. With this particular ruin in mind...

...wonderful to see that the columns are still in a good condition. To be honest, I waited until the weather was a little gray and drizzly, so the mystery of the ruin even better appeal to my imagination...

~Strong, With A Dash Of Red~
...it was so cold when I walked to the station to get home, but there she was (would love to think about a she, ha!). I've read that there was a black swan in the pond of our city park in the centre. Because it was on my route, I walked through the park and finally, yesterday, I spotted her and oh my goodness isn't she a beauty!! and so elegant with her long neck. So I stood on the bridge, shivering, with the camera in my hand. It was the excitement and the cold, I just couldn't press the close up button. But I'm so glad to capture her at this time!! Even the turbid dark water turns in to a magical setting by the presence of this beautiful creature...
...Equally intriguing is this great photo shoot by Aleksandra Zaborowska. What's not captivating in these images. How romantic is her hairstyle!!!! the elegance of the long black dress and the beautiful make-up. Subtle glamour at it's best!...
