~Collecting, Fabrics~
...on the left, it's actually an apron. The mother of my boyfriend told me it's part of an ancient Dutch costume. On the side it's beautiful embroidered with sequins and little beads. And nowadays sporadically to find and of a good quality, a cloth crafted with gold thread. I found two of them on a flea market, originally coming from a church...Images, by Audrey
I love collecting different fabrics... I have several 'bolts' of fabric still from my studio and many many scraps of left over fabrics - I just can't bear to part with them so I keep them and admire them from time to time! :)
