I took this image on my balcony when the temperatures were much more gentle and my plants blooming gracefully. Unfortunately it doesn't look that good anymore. In the last couple of days in July we were facing brutal temperatures above the 40 degrees. Not what we had expected and neither what we used to. Luckily it was very pleasant when I took the images below during the Summer festivities in my home town, Nijmegen. A walk in the centre, strolling at the Waalkade and not to forget a quick visit at my sisters and her husband restaurant. And...once in a while a moment with one of my nieces. Pretty in red.
