The Neighbourhood | Berchem | Groen Kwartier
If you think this is a place for some action then you shouldn't be here. The neighborhood is on the rise. Further down the streets there's a lovely plant shop and nearby a lunch cafe on the corner of the street. And maybe we missed a few.
If you prefer shopping on a large scale, you have to visit the center of Antwerp. But that's not what we want. We just walked a lot and we discovered beautiful old houses and new-build apartments with nice blooming pottery. A nice contrast with old architecture and the diversity fits well in this environment. What's nearby ? restaurant The Jane is a few footsteps away from the hotel and PAKT is located on a former industrial site. You will find here a mix of creative entrepreneurs and culinary experts. Also I took a picture of a public watertap, and I just love the design. Messing and black! how great to see this on the street.
