                                         Amsterdam - RAI Woonbeurs 2014

Ik heb het eigenlijk niet zo op het bezoeken van een Beurs. De laatste die ik bezocht was de Huishoudbeurs jaren geleden. Samen met vier zusjes en twee nichtjes, altijd lachen toch!! maar ik had besloten dat het echt de laatste keer is dat ik dit soort beurzen bezoek. Te luidruchtig en teveel van alles. Een uitzondering op de regel is de Woonbeurs in Amsterdam. Altijd interessant om te zien wat de laatste nieuwtjes zijn op woongebied in ons land. Het is eigenlijk het zien en aanraken van de producten die ik al een tijdje bewonder op de vele blogs op het gebied van wonen, werken en leven. Rondlopend kwam ik een in het oog springend Stand tegen en wel die van Six and Sons een vintage winkel met o.a. een selectie in meubels, kleding en accessoires. Ze zijn gevestigd op de Haarlemmerdijk in Amsterdam en zeker de moeite waard om een kijkje te nemen in de winkel. 

I haven't much with Fairs in general. It's too noisy and too much of everything. An exception to the rule is the Woonbeurs in Amsterdam. Always interesting to see what's happening in our country when it comes to making our home comfortable. It's actually see and touch the products that I admire on many blogs. Walking around I came across a striking stand, namely Six and Sons a vintage shop with a selection of furniture, clothing and accessories. They are located on the Haarlemmerdijk in Amsterdam and definitely worth to take a look in the store.

Op de Beurs toonden zij een collectie prachtige producten gemaakt van duurzaam materiaal. Mijn favoriet is de fles opener van Futagami uitgevoerd in koper. Naast de functionaliteit is het ook een sieraad voor in de keuken. Het blauw witte servies doet me denken aan het oerhollandse Delfts Blauw. Dit handgemaakte servies is van Eva Gernandt en uitgebracht onder de naam By Mutti. Een interessant object is dit vierkanten glazen vaas waarin je een plant met wortel een plekje geeft. Decoratief en heel modern.

At the Fair, they showed a collection of beautiful products made from sustainable materials. My favorite is the bottle opener by Futagami in copper. In addition to functionality, it is also a beautiful item in the kitchen. The blue and white china reminds me of the traditional Dutch Delft Blue. This handmade tableware is by the hands of Eva Gernandt and released under the name By Mutti. An interesting object is the square glass vase in which you give a plant root a home. Very decorative and very modern.

Bij de stand van Eigen Huis & Interieur kwam ik dit retro stoeltje tegen met een hoog dosis glamour. Het is de Golden Chair van Nika Zupanc voor Moooi. Ik kreeg er maar niet genoeg van en ik heb "haar" van alle kanten gefotografeerd. Ik durfde er niet op te zitten maar ik ga ervan uit dat het wel een goed zitkwaliteit heeft. Dit mag ook wel voor 632,00 per stuk! De gekleurde glazen stolpen hebben ook een hoog aantrekkingskracht en een aantal bij elkaar vormt het een mooi kleurrijk geheel.

At the stand of Eigen Huis & Interieur I came across this retro chair with a high dose of glamour. It's the Golden Chair by Nika Zupanc for Moooi. I could not get enough of it and I photographed "her" from all sides. I didn't dare to sit on this beauty but I assume that it has a good seating quality. And it should be for 632,00 euro. The colored glass cloches also have a high appeal and a number together it forms a nice colorful set.

Zo dit is mijn eerste blogpost van de Woonbeurs. In de komende dagen post ik nog over hoe VT Wonen hun inspiratie tonen op het gebied van koninklijk wonen.
