~Sunny Sunday, and Musing~
...when I was sitting on the balcony this morning with a cup of tea, I was thinking about a map my mother gave me in which my father kept some drawings. But also, and this must be for decades now, these dried flowers of an orchid. I remember this, but never saw them again. Those little things often reminds me of my heritage. I adore the picture of my parents in their engagement time. My mother in her heeled sandals, a lovely blouse with puffed sleeves, and it seems like a wide dark skirt, just a glance, it looks like she's wearing a petticoat underneath. Oh and of course my dad (he was tall for an Indonesian man). Thankfully my parents are able to visit Indonesia a couple of times and from their visits they always bring some souvenirs. Wondering, can't stop thinking about it, so I intend to visit it in 2013 and hopefully I get it done...
